General

  • My prices and T.O.S. are subject to change as I become more experienced and my skills, commitments, and processes change.

  • Keep in mind that you are purchasing DIGITAL goods, no physical items will be shipped, so you DON'T need to provide your shipping address at any time.

  • I reserve the right to decline a commission, with or without explaining my reasons.

  • Prices vary based on complexity. Complex character designs, poses, shading, backgrounds etc. will cost more. Custom OCs are a fixed price.

Payment

  • Payment is upfront and in full. I will not start working on the piece until I receive payment (so the sooner you pay the invoice the sooner I can start on the artwork!).

  • I will email you a Paypal invoice in USD. You can pay with debit/credit, you do not need a PayPal account to pay the invoice.

  • If the invoice has not been paid after 30 days and you haven't followed up via email, I'll consider the order cancelled.

  • I will only give you a full refund if I have not started the sketch, while partial refunds will be given for the value of work that is not done. I will give you the artwork at whatever stage it’s been completed to.

  • After the sketch is approved by you I will not do any more major revisions for free. The cost of revisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on what you want changed.

Ownership/Commission Use

  • I reserve the right to use the commissioned piece in my posts, portfolio, etc.

  • The commissioned artwork is for the commissioner’s personal use only (such as for profile pictures or in their social media posts. Please credit me if it is used).

  • The commissioner and other parties may not use my art for commercial purposes without an agreement or contract.

  • The commissioner and other parties may not claim the commissioned piece as their own work, NOR remove my signature from the piece.

  • Regarding OC designs: the OC is yours to do with as you please, so they can be used for profit in your own stories/art/etc.! For any public work including publicly online, please credit me somewhere. Only the art I originally made for the commission cannot be used for commercial purposes.

  • Nothing made by me can be used in training Generative AI or in any block-chain related technology, such as NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.

Coloured Lineart

Below are some some examples of what my typical lineart, lineless, and shading look like. If requested, a commission's price could be lowered by doing 1-colour lineart and/or simple shading. There are also

  • I post most of my finished commissions on my art blog on the 1st of the next month (e.g. commissions done in January will be posted on Feb. 1). Please let me know if you want me to hold off on posting it until sometime later (e.g. if it's a birthday gift commissioned in January and their birthday is on Feb.15, instead of posting it on Feb.1 I can post it on Mar.1!)

  • *once you pay the invoice I'll put you on the trello

  • When I finish the sketch I will show it to you so you can tell me if there’s any adjustments to make. I’ll show and do another round of adjustments on the sketch if more changes were requested, and after that I’ll work on completing the piece. If it's all good I'll go right into finishing up the piece.

  • You can track the commission’s progress on Trello. vvvvv

  • After you've approved the sketch I typically won't send work in progress images after that, but if you do want to see how it's looking at the moment just ask!

  • Once I send you the completed piece please reply to that email so I know you received it okay!

FOR REFERENCE SHEET COMMISSIONS:

Animated videos

  • Character price depends on their complexity. For example, a character with more markings/accessories or a complicated pose will be more expensive. Animal characters are typically cheaper than humans (and anthros are usually somewhere in between that price range).

  • Coloured lineart depends on their complexity and whether or not you want shading. More colours on your character means more time needed to colour the lineart to match, and shading will create more colours too.

  • Shading price depends on their complexity. For example, a character with more accessories means more things to shade, making it more expensive.

  • Regular shading will be a mix of cell and shading and gradients unless otherwise specified (e.g. specifying "only a little cell shading", which would lower the shading price!).

  • Background price depends on their complexity. For example, a town in the bg is more complicated than a field.

  • See the Visual Comparisons* section below for visual examples of the differences between basic lineart vs. coloured lineart, shading vs. no shading, and simple vs. complex backgrounds!
